1. What do you think the poem is about? Why?
- I thought the poem was very interesting but also weird at the same time, I think the poem is maybe about a war could be going on or something like that because it talks about rifles,cattle,anger,and young men, Although i think i might be wrong at the same time. But, if i had any guess what it's about i think it would maybe have to do with a war or somthing like that?
2. What do you think some of the more striking images in the poem are and why?
- I really dont know what you mean when you say striking images..? but, if i had eny guess it would have to do with this is what striked me the most in the paragraph/poem. Not in the hands of boys, but in their eyes Shall shine the holy glimmers of good-byes.i diden't really get it?
3. Write out lines that support what you think the poem is about and explain how those lines support your idea of the poem’s meaning:
- Most of the outlines in the poem like i said in the first paragraph i think the poem is mostly about a war going on or somthing have to do with it? so that is all i really have to say about it..
